What is The Emmeline Circle?
A guided and collaborative, thinking space for women in people, learning and culture to make sense of AI together.
The Emmeline Circle has grown out of the real conversations I’ve been having with experienced women leaders in people, learning and culture. You bring deep expertise in HR, talent, L&D, OD and culture, yet many of you are now being asked to navigate AI in organisations that still treat it largely as a technical function.

Hi, I'm your host
I host The Emmeline Circle, curating conversations, sharing the resources I develop in my work and holding virtual sessions that help the community make sense of AI in a grounded, human-centred way.
I’m honoured to be recognised as an award-winning AI leader and HR influencer by HR Magazine and Digital Leaders for my work helping people make sense of the changes AI is creating across the workplace. I believe AI is a people issue, not a technical one, and that HR’s role is undergoing a paradigm shift. The human response to AI is complex, and experienced HR leaders need space, language and clarity to understand what’s happening and plan the way forward with their people.

Most members do not have a technical background. The Emmeline Circle gives women in HR, talent, L&D, OD and culture roles a calm space to ask curious questions, clear the fog around AI and think through what it means for their people.

Why only
people, learning and culture?
The Circle is intentionally for women in people, learning and culture roles only. You already share a shorthand. You speak the same language about restructures, stakeholders, budgets, wellbeing, performance, risk and politics. You do not have to explain your world from scratch or justify the basics.
That shared understanding is what makes deeper, faster and more honest conversations possible.
